Non-supervisory Position: Enumerator $35.79/hour
Supervisory Position: Crew leader $37.79/hour
Enumerators: the primary responsibilities of enumerators are to collect completed census questionnaires from households.
- Enumerators must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week on average, as determined by workload, with most of the work completed in the evening and on weekends.
- Responsibilities include collecting data from respondents in person through door-to-door visits.
- Enumerators receive hourly compensation and are eligible to claim authorized expenses, such as mileage and parking
- The employment period in select northern and remote communities runs from January 2026 to March 2026, depending on the position and location
Crew Leaders: the primary responsibilities of crew leaders are to lead and supervise an assistant and a team of enumerators. They are responsible for all activities related to the collection of completed census questionnaires in their assigned area.
- Crew leaders must be available for full-time work (40 hours per week), including days, evening, and weekends.
- They supervise, train, and motivate a team of enumerators conducting in-person, door-to-door visits. Crew leaders work closely with their assistants to complete these tasks.
- Crew leaders receive hourly compensation and are eligible to claim authorizes expenses, such as mileage and parking
- The employment period in select northern and remote communities runs from January 2026 to April 2026, depending on the position and location.
